President of The Philippines Rodrigo Duterte today confirmed he would be playing the part of Hannibal Lecter in the upcoming ‘Silence of the Lambs’ remake.
In an interview with the New York Times, Mr. Duterte called the role ‘a once in a lifetime opportunity’ and ‘a dream come true’
When asked how he prepared for such a demanding part, the President replied:
‘Killing eight thousand drug dealers has definitely helped. It’s taken nearly nine months to get into character, but now I feel I can finally bring Hannibal Lecter to life’
‘Threatening to eat terrorists’ livers has also been good for my motivation’
This news comes just days after Warner Bros. announced they had approached North Korean leader Kim Jong-un with plans for a possible Death Wish reboot.
