UKIP under fire as MEP calls Islam a ‘death cult’

UKIP MEP Gerard Batten has been heavily criticised for a blog post describing Islam as a ‘death cult, born and steeped in 1400 years of violence and bloodshed’

This week saw the launch of the party’s ‘integration agenda’, which among other things, aims to ban the burka, put an end to sharia courts, and close down any so-called ‘Trojan horse’ schools.

Green Party MP Caroline Lucas condemned the comments, saying ‘UKIP’s descent into the gutter of British politics is continuing’

Liberal Democrat MP Tom Brake said ‘This kind of hateful language has no place in a UK political party’

In the 2015 general election, UKIP won 4 million votes with a 12.6% vote share.

Current opinion polls have the party at around 7%.

  1. The one and only reason that we the British have not been subject the terrorist attacks that have happened in the rest of europe, is because of our security forces have managed to put a stop to them but the day is not far away when it will happen.
It will be then that the stupid liberals and the greens will be screaming that it has nothing to do with muslims. Along with Halal animal cruelty, pedofilia and genitial mutilation to name but a few of the inhuman traits of the Islamic Cult.
This/these people are in the main a sub-human cult that should never be allowed to reside in the presence of a civilised society. If this is called racist, islamophobic, so be it.
I would not care which political party was for speaking out and stopping these atrocities..They get my vote !!
It is about time that the mainstream parties opened their eyes, looked and admitted what is really going on in this once beautiful country of ours..
