Kelvin MacKenzie in trouble for ‘Jeremy Corbyn knifed to death by an asylum seeker’ comment

The Sun columnist Kelvin MacKenzie is facing heavy criticism for suggesting that ‘Jeremy Corbyn Knifed to Death by an Asylum Seeker’ would be ‘the fake news headline that would give this country the most joy’.

Mr. MacKenzie is currently suspended by the paper for his recent comments comparing footballer Ross Barkley to a gorilla, which led to accusations of racism, as Mr. Barkley’s grandfather is Nigerian.

These latest remarks could potentially be investigated by the police as ‘incitement to violence’, especially considering MP Jo Cox was stabbed to death last year, in what was a politically motivated attack.

Kelvin MacKenzie is currently on holiday.
