Boomtown Rats singer Bob Geldof continues to campaign against Brexit, saying the decision to leave the EU will be ‘catastrophic in every sense for this country’.
Mr. Geldof also went on to say he believed it was his ‘democratic obligation and duty’ to fight against Brexit, despite respecting ‘the legitimacy of the vote’.
He also criticised the ‘Brexit bullies’, who have been quick to label him ‘treacherous, a saboteur, a traitor’.
These comments came during an interview with ‘The Convention’, a two day conference which will debate the impact of Brexit, and features guest speakers such as Nick Clegg, Gina Miller and Alastair Campbell.
