Labour leader Jeremy Corby is being investigated by police for an alleged hit-and-run attack on a BBC cameraman. Witnesses described the incident as ‘total chaos’, and said that Mr. Corbyn appeared to be ‘possessed by the devil’ as he ploughed into the unfortunate victim.
Unconfirmed rumours suggest this is a revenge attack for the way the BBC have covered the general election campaign. Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell has repeatedly accused the corporation of ‘blatant pro-Tory bias’, as well as ‘a blatant, offensive, possibly illegal smear campaign against our party and its leadership’.
Mr. Corbyn is facing a possible custodial sentence, as this is not the first time he has been involved in such controversies, having famously been forced to wear an ankle tag after throwing bread rolls at a Daily Mail journalist during an interview.
