Political activist Gina Miller has called the decision to leave the EU ‘an emotional spasm’, and has promised to continue to speak out, because ‘silence means that the bullies win’.
Ms. Miller went on to claim that ‘a large populous voted Leave because they wanted someone to listen to them’.
‘We’ve got to understand why that happened and we’ve got to fix it’.
She also warned that the referendum result meant that Britain was now headed towards ‘this crazy, fantastical place we think we’ll be’.
Ms. Miller was speaking in the run up to ‘The Convention’, a two day conference where guest speakers will debate the issues surrounding Brexit.
