Boris Johnson mistakes Sikh temple for branch of Wetherspoons

Foreign secretary Boris Johnson has today apologised for walking into a Sikh temple and ordering a curry and a pint.

‘I’d like to offer my sincerest apologies. I thought it was a Wetherspoons, and after a hard day on the campaign trail, I’d worked up quite an appetite’.

‘I suppose on reflection I should have realised it was a place of worship, not a pub, but we all make mistakes’.

‘It won’t happen again’.

This news comes just days after Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn inadvertently walked into his local Synagogue and ordered a Big Mac and Fries.
