[100 word news] – Katie Hopkins reported to police for twitter comments

Mail Online columnist Katie Hopkins has been reported to police for comments made on twitter in the aftermath of the Manchester terror attack.

’22 dead – numbers rising. Do not be part of the problem. We need a final solution’.

The phrase ‘final solution’ is associated with the German plan to exterminate Jews during World War 2.

A spokesperson for the police said:  ‘As is routine, the allegation will be reviewed and assessed by specialist officers’.

Telegraph writer Allison Pearson also came under heavy criticism for a tweet which said: ‘We need internment of thousands of terror suspects now to protect our children’.

  1. Leave Katie Hopkins alone. She tells the truth and sees the reality that other people refuse to. She is a brave woman, a refreshing element in this corrupt and dangerous climate. We need more people like her. She has my complete admiration.

  2. Well done Katie the government brought in Internment in Northern Ireland in the 1970’s so what is so wrong with bringing it in now for these Muslim terrorists they should be locked up before they cause any more carnage and kill innocent people like the IRA did for nearly 40 years

  3. I love Katie Hopkins for her guts and for speaking the truth she will always have the power of the people behind her
