In a forthcoming foreign policy speech, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn will promise ‘a change at home and a change abroad’, as the ‘war on terror simply isn’t working’.
Mr. Corbyn will also suggest there is a link between Britain’s involvement in foreign wars, and domestic terrorism:
‘Many experts have pointed to the connections between wars our government has supported or fought in other countries, and terrorism here at home’.
‘That assessment in no way reduces the guilt of those who attack our children. Those terrorists will forever be reviled and held to account for their actions’.
Jeremy Corbyn opposed the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and voted against air strikes in Syria and Libya.
