Corbyn to appear on cover of Vogue

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn will appear on the cover of next month’s issue of Vogue magazine.

‘He’s a modern day fashion icon’, said the editor at a press conference.

‘The trademark brown jacket is symbolic of a new kind of politics, and combined with the loose tie and grey beard, cements Mr. Corbyn’s status as the best dressed party leader’.

‘It is therefore only right that he appears on the cover’.

‘He truly deserves it’.

Mr. Corbyn issued a statement on Facebook thanking Vogue, calling the magazine ‘a true champion of equality, diversity, and honest socialist principles’.

This news comes after North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair’s ‘Dictator Chic’ issue.
