‘Tax dodging is okay if you’re famous’, say famous people

Famous people have today confirmed that tax dodging is acceptable, but only if you’re famous.

‘It’s not that hard to understand’, said famous footballer David Beckham.

‘We give so much to society, that we deserve the right to fiddle our taxes. What have normal people ever done for this country? Have you ever scored the winning goal in a World Cup match? I didn’t think so’.

Famous TV presenters Ant and Dec told reporters:

‘It is your moral duty as a citizen to pay your taxes. However, if you’ve brought joy and laughter to millions of people, then why shouldn’t you funnel your money into a perfectly legal tax avoidance scheme?’

‘It’s just one of the perks of being famous’.

‘Why is that so hard for normal people to accept?’
