Flying a plane ‘undemocratic’, say politicians

Politicians from all parties have today called for airlines to become more democratic, after it became clear that pilots had a disproportionate amount of decision making authority.

‘They can do what they like, completely unopposed’, said Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

‘Do we really want to live in a society where the public has no say in how their aeroplane journeys are conducted?’

‘The people need representation, and only a Labour government will deliver’.

Prime Minister Theresa May said that democratic plane journeys were important, but that the current government had other priorities, and would look into the issue at a later date.
