Conservative MP Nigel Evans has criticised the Labour leader, saying:
‘Jeremy Corbyn got away with murder almost during the general election campaign, because we had our own useless manifesto and all the attention was on that’.
‘He was on a massive spending spree, the likes of which I’ve never seen before, and he said only the top five per cent of earners are going to pay for all of this’.
‘It was economically illiterate’.
Mr. Evans has been a vocal critic of the Conservative’s recent manifesto, accusing the party of launching ‘a full frontal assault on our core voters – the elderly’.
‘We didn’t shoot ourselves in the foot, we shot ourselves in the head’.
