Theresa May has told her ministers to stop the infighting and leaking, calling instead for a show of ‘strength and unity’, which ‘starts at the cabinet table’.
Mrs. May also asked her MPs to ‘go away and have a proper break, and come back ready for serious business’.
‘No backbiting, no carping. The choice is me or Jeremy Corbyn – and no one wants him’.
These comments come after a series of damaging leaks which accused chancellor Philip Hammond of trying to sabotage Brexit, calling public sector workers overpaid, and saying that driving a train was now so easy, ‘even a woman can do it’.
