Anti-Brexit campaigner Gina Miller has argued that reversing the referendum result might not be too difficult, saying:
‘We can’t predict the future but from a very practical point of view, why could Brexit not be reversed?’
‘It would require withdrawal of the notification letter and an act of Parliament, and the other 27 member states to agree’.
‘We need to go forwards to see where we end up, but it must be logical that we vote on all options, including remaining, and at that stage we would know if we can remain or not’.
‘I can’t see how someone can say it is set in stone’.
‘An election does not set everything in stone’.
