‘I think Labour voters have been deceived by Mr. Corbyn’, says Nigel Farage

Nigel Farage has accused Jeremy Corbyn of deceiving voters, after Labour revealed plans to stay in the single market during a post-Brexit transitional phase.

‘I was starting to think that we were going to see the real, principled Corbyn’.

‘The man that we knew had been a Tony Benn supporter, and an opponent of the European project’.

‘I had hoped he would really harry the government, to make them get on with Brexit, and make sure it was a clean Brexit’.

‘I was completely wrong, because clearly there isn’t much principle at all with Corbyn, clearly he’s bowing to pressure from his backbenchers’.

‘I think that Corbyn has devalued himself’.

‘He has bent, he has buckled, and I think that Labour voters out there have effectively been deceived by Mr Corbyn and the Labour Party’.

  1. Nigel Farage would know all about deceit. He has based his entire political career about deceiving others, especially those he considers his followers. Denied the oxygen of publicity his squib will fade and fizzle out.
